Rochana Kosiyanon
Managing Director
Khun Rochana, our company’s founder and current major shareholder, finished her schooling in Bangkok. In 1971, she won the Royal Thai government scholarship to study textile in the U.S. She received her undergraduate degrees in Textile Technology and Textile Chemistry and her Ph.D. in Fiber & Polymer Science from North Carolina State University in Raleigh. She worked for 9 years in research developing new fiber products with E. I. du Pont de Nemours, at the headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware. After moving back to Bangkok, she took up a few industrial management positions before founding TTIS in 1991- as an interesting project. “I knew how to print fabrics, I read a lot of magazines, so I figured how hard could it be to publish print-magazine, right?”, an answer she told innocent bystanders who happen to ask how she switched career from a scientist/ marketer into media.
Khun Rochana is an avid reader. She reads anything and everything. Her interests vary from communication, anthropology, psychology to philosophy and even religion. Digital and web marketing is most recent interest. She can be reached at rochana@ttis.co.th.
Wisanu Sasi-Smit
Sales Director
Wisanu has been in publishing/media industry more than 30 years. Worked as Special Project Director, Marketing Director, Sales Manager at major companies namely: The Post Publishing PCL, GMM Inter Publishing and so on. Clients include PTT, Ministry of Tourism and Sports, Tourism Authority of Thailand and Thai International Airways.
