ปัจจุบัน การแข่งขันในโลกธุรกิจทวีความเข้มข้นยิ่งขึ้นทุกขณะ โดยเฉพาะการเกิดขึ้นของประชาคมเศรษฐกิจอาเซียน (ASEAN Economic Community: AEC) ในปี 2558 จะเป็นทั้งโอกาสและความท้าทายสำหรับผู้ส่งออกและผู้ให้บริการโลจิสติกส์ไทย เพราะไม่เพียงเป็นการเปิดเสรีการค้าอย่างเดียวเท่านั้น แต่ยังครอบคลุมถึงการเปิดเสรีการค้าบริการ การเปิดเสรีการลงทุน ซึ่งก่อให้เกิดการเคลื่อนย้ายแรงงานฝีมือและเงินทุนอย่างเสรี อันจะเอื้อให้ประเทศอาเซียนทั้ง 10 ประเทศกลายเป็น “ตลาดและฐานการผลิตเดียว” (A Single Market and Production Base) จึงจำเป็นที่ไทยต้องเร่งปรับตัวรับมือกับการแข่งขันดังกล่าว เช่น จากที่เคยเน้นจุดขายที่ผลิตภัณฑ์ ผู้บริหารอาจต้องเฟ้นหาแนวคิดหรือกลยุทธ์ใหม่ๆ ที่จะก่อให้เกิดข้อได้เปรียบ เช่น การได้รับยกเว้นภาษี การลดต้นทุน หรือการพัฒนาธุรกิจให้สอดคล้องกับเทรนด์หรือกฎเกณฑ์ใหม่ๆ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเรื่องของกรีนโลจิสติกส์ ความปลอดภัยของผู้บริโภคและสิ่งแวดล้อม ซึ่งเป็นสิ่งที่ลูกค้าในอนาคตให้ความสำคัญ

หลักสูตรสัมมนา “Logistics Excellence Training 2011” ได้รับการออกแบบขึ้นเพื่อให้ผู้เข้าร่วมสัมมนาทราบว่าจะรับมือกับความเปลี่ยนแปลงและความท้าทายใหม่ๆ ได้อย่างไร โดยครอบคลุมหลากหลายประเด็นที่เป็นประโยชน์สำหรับผู้ส่งออกและผู้ให้บริการโลจิสติกส์ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นการบริหารจัดการโลจิสติกส์แบบบูรณาการ การนำเอาแนวคิดด้านโลจิสติกส์มาประยุกต์ใช้ในการปฏิบัติงานระดับต่างๆ ตลอดทั้งซัพพลายเชน กรีนโลจิสติกส์และพลังงานทางเลือก การทำธุรกิจผ่าน Beer Game Workshop และการวิเคราะห์จุดอ่อน-จุดแข็ง (SWOT) เพื่อสร้างเครือข่ายทางธุรกิจ เป็นต้น
